Senior Management at David Game
David Game MA MPhil, Principal
David Game is one of the UK’s foremost education entrepreneurs and philanthropists. A Mathematics scholar at New College, Oxford, he gained a MPhil in Number Theory from UCL. His enthusiasm and energy have helped him build a formidable network of independent schools and colleges both in Britain and abroad. He is a keen linguist and avid art collector - the College doubles up as a gallery exhibiting his varied collection of contemporary paintings.
John Dalton BSc, CBiol, Co-Vice Principal, Head of Science
John Dalton has been teaching Science at both GCSE and A Level since 1987. As Co-Vice Principal, he provides academic support and advice to tutors and other key staff. John takes an active role in student welfare and College discipline, and is also Manager of the College buildings.
Michael Kahn MA, PGCE, MRI, Co-Vice Principal, Examinations Officer
Michael Kahn was the Examinations Officer at another independent college for 20 years and Vice Principal for 17 years, before taking over these roles at David Game College in 2006. As Academic Vice Principal, Michael oversees and monitors the progress of AS and A Level students and is always available to offer advice and help to students who are under-achieving for whatever reason. Michael has been teaching Chemistry since 1976 and has written A level questions for Edexcel.
Gul Chugani BA, Senior College Adviser
Gul Chugani has been one of the key figures at David Game since it was founded in 1974. One of Mrs Chugani’s roles is to interview new students and advise them on the course that is best suited to their requirements and abilities. She is personal tutor to a number of students and arranges private tuition for those who feel the need for extra coaching. Mrs Chugani now works at the College on a part-time basis.
Eny Ahn, Head of Admissions
Eny is in charge of A level and GCSE admissions. She is responsible for checking applications and responding to students' queries and advises prospective students how to apply, what qualifications are needed and the courses offered at David Game College. In addition she oversees College administration.
Terry Kwok CMS, Registrar & International Student Welfare Officer
Terry Kwok has been at David Game since 1983. She has contributed immeasurably to the progress of the College over the past twenty-five years. Terry deals with a wide range of students’ needs and problems and also plays a pivotal role in the College’s overseas marketing.
Rachel Sherman MA, PGCE, Director of Studies
Rachel has 16 years' experience of teaching Geography up to A level in London schools, and has had many posts of responsibility including Head of Department and Assistant Head of Sixth Form. In 2001 she was awarded Advanced Skills Teacher status which recognises teachers for their excellent teaching. She joined David Game in 2008 to provide detailed careers guidance and give students individual help and advice with regard to their university applications. Rachel has specific expertise in preparing students for highly competitive university applications and admissions tests.
Nana Hashmi, Senior Administrator & PA to the Principal
Nana Hashmi joined David Game in 1989. She acts as David Game’s personal assistant and helps look after his many interests both in the College in London, and the other Colleges of the Group, and now works on a part-time basis at the College Group Head Office.
