English as a Foreign Language

International students need to be able to understand and converse in English Language before they commence academic studies.

Universities in the UK typically require students to have an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of around 6.5.  You will will also need an IELTS of between 4.5-5.5 to join a David Game College course.

Students who need to improve their English Language level may take an Intensive English Language course through Kensington Academy of English, a division of David Game College.

Please note we also prepare students for IELTS and Cambridge examinations.

Student Profile

Gregori Bosi, Brazil - English as a Foreign Language
I was in university in Brazil, but I decided to take a break to improve my English. I have been studying English since I was ten years old, but there is nothing like living in a place where you are constantly surrounded by the language you wish to learn. I met Lamya, the Director of Admissions, personally in my country and I got very excited about attending David Game. I studied English as a Foreign Language and I can definitely say that my skills have improved a lot. My teacher was more than just a teacher, which contributed to making the classes even more pleasant, and I made great friends in the classroom. After I finished my classes I took the Cambridge Advanced Exam, for which I am still awaiting the results. It's a shame I didn't pick up the British accent, but I can say I had an amazing time there.
