Admissions
How to apply for a place
Please telephone us to arrange an appointment for you to visit the College. You will be given the opportunity to meet senior members of staff (usually one or both of the Vice Principals) and will be shown around the College. The Vice Principals are both practising teachers with a combined experience of over 50 years of classroo teaching in independent education, preparing students for entry to the most competitive university degree courses. You will not be talking to marketing consultants with the sole aim of "selling" the College, but to educational professionals.
To enable our staff to give you the best possible advice and provide accurate answers to any questions you may have about your proposed programme of study, it is helpful to bring with you copies of previous examination results, school reports, testimonials etc. when you visit us.
When you come to the College for an interview, it is important to understand that you are looking at us as much as the other way round. It helps you to decide whether the courses we offer are appropriate for your needs, and - just as important - whether you would be comfortable with our methods of working and the general atmosphere here.
You will be given an accurate appraisal of your previous education and hence the viability of your proposed course, university targets and long term career aims. We do everything to encourage ambition; ambition however must be tempered by realism in terms of the student's academic ability and potential. We encourage students to break free from their previous educational stereotype.
If you feel that you would gain a more accurate impression of the College by sitting in on classes for a couple of days, this can be arranged.
Once you have visited the College, we will evaluate your application in terms of its educational viability, and we will write to you and let you know if we are able to offer you a place. If we make an offer which you decide to accept, you then need to complete an application form and pay a deposit (please see out Terms and Conditions) to secure the enrolment.
For international students it may not always be possible for you tto visit the College. You can obtain all the information you require by either contacting the Director of Admissions, (tel: 020 7221 6665) or by e-mailing nhg@davidgame-group.com. The College is happy to hold telephone conferences with prospective students and to give information and answer all questions by email or telephone.
An application for courses at David Game College follows one of the following processes:-

Apply online for GCSE or AS/A level courses
The online application form takes about ten minutes to complete. It is important that all sections on the form are completed and the information you provide will enable us to confirm your suitability and if appropriate, offer you a place on a course.
Applying online for the University Foundation Programme (UFP)
You can apply online for the University Foundation Programme. For full details of the Programme and application procedure see the UFP section on this website.
Upper Sixth (Year 13) Applications and Resits
David Game College is very flexible in its admissions policy. Students who wish to transfer to the College after taking their AS levels mid way through the sixth form, or want to resit AS units can easily be accommodated. If transferring to David Game College involves a change of examination board in one or more of your subjects, you will need to check with us first to ascertain whether your AS marks gained at your previous school or college can be merged with A2 marks eventually obtained here. In the vast majority of cases this is possible, and requires only routine administration which our Examinations Officer will take care of.
